Queenstown No.2, New Zealand - February 2017

Weather on the 2nd Tour of Queenstown is what we have come to expect at this time of the year. Beautiful blue skies with light winds and idyllic golf conditions

Trevor Kempton from Tamworth G.C. (Hcp 12-14) returned very good rounds at Queenstown, Millbrook and Jacks Point of 38, 36 and 35 points respectively to create a big lead over the field and just enough to defeat the strong finish by Ian Stuart from Concord G.C. (Hcp 12 -13) by just one point. Ian Stuart's final two rounds of 39 and 36 points at The Hills and Jacks Point respectively were also just enough top claim 2nd prize ahead of Warren Hughes (Yamba G.C.)

Yvonne Murray from Blackheath G.C. had a fantastic round at The Hills of 36 points, gaining 8 shots on the field as the next best score was only 28 points. Despite a poor round at Jacks Point on the final day her scores were enough to win by a comfortable 3 shots clear of Ellen Ledgar from Oatlands G.C.
